01 — What ChainGPT Labs is
ChainGPT Labs backs the very best Web3 builders — transforming visionary ideas into real-world growth. We are not a generic accelerator that takes 6% for a pitch-deck template. We sit at the intersection of capital, incubation and the broader ChainGPT product stack (AI, Pad, NFT, DegenPad, AIVM, CryptoGuard).
This documentation is the public operating manual. Use it if you are:
- A founder deciding whether to apply for funding or incubation.
- A partner (exchange, L1/L2, market maker) mapping how we work.
- A community member who wants the same facts we tell founders on a call.
Official updates and deal flow signals live on X: @CGPTAgent. That is the only social handle this site points to.
North star. We exist to take a team from “working product + early traction” to “listed, liquid, and still alive 12 months after TGE”. Everything below is in service of that.
02 — Smart Capital
Smart Capital is the check-writing arm. It is designed for teams that already know what they are building and need a lead or follow-on that comes with distribution, not just a wire.
Who it is for
- AI, DeFi, DePIN and L1/L2 teams with a live product or a dated mainnet.
- Rounds from pre-seed through strategic where Labs can add more than money.
- Founders who want CEX, KOL and GTM access as part of the same conversation as the term sheet.
What the check usually includes
- Capital. Sized to the round, not to a fixed ticket. We do not publish a public cheque size because it changes with the book.
- Allocation design. How much is ecosystem, how much is market-making, how much is community — before you mint.
- Introductions that close. We do not send a 40-name spreadsheet. We make two or three calls that matter.
What we do not do
- We do not fund idea-stage decks with no product and no users.
- We do not run a “spray 50 cheques and pray” model.
- We do not require you to use ChainGPT AI as a dependency. Using the stack is optional and scored as a plus, not a gate.
03 — Incubation & acceleration
Incubation is the operating-system layer. Capital without a GTM plan is how you get a dead chart on week three. The incubation track is for teams that need a full stack: product polish, fundraise choreography, listings, and narrative.
Program shape
There is no fixed 12-week cohort with a demo day. Work is scoped to the company. A typical engagement looks like this:
- Week 0 — diagnostic. Token design, user funnel, competitive map, listing readiness, legal gaps.
- Weeks 1–4 — foundation. Website, brand, social system, data room, investor narrative, first KOL tests.
- Weeks 4–10 — market. Fundraise or listing path, CEX conversations, MM term sheet, community growth loops.
- TGE window. Listing day runbook, liquidity, war-room comms, first 72 hours.
- Post-TGE. Retention of listings, unlock calendar, second narrative, treasury policy.
Duration compresses or stretches with the team. A protocol that already has a CEX LOI skips steps that a seed DePIN team cannot.
04 — Support modules
These are the building blocks we mix into Smart Capital and Incubation. You will not get all of them. You will get the ones that move the round or the listing.
Fundraise management
Process design, data room, investor sequencing, and closing hygiene so the round does not stall on a missing cap table.
Treasury building
How the treasury is held, who signs, what is liquid, what is staked, and how that story is told to the market.
Strategic partnerships
L1/L2, oracles, wallets, and infrastructure intros that show up in the product, not only in a tweet.
KOL management
A short list, a brief, a tracking sheet. No spray-and-pray “200 KOLs for TGE” packages.
Top CEXs
Introductions and listing-readiness (legal, MM, tokenomics, market-quality metrics) — not a guaranteed listing.
Tokenization strategy
Supply, unlocks, points-to-token, airdrop design, and the incentives that do not brick the chart.
GTM & marketing
Positioning, launch narrative, content system, and paid vs organic mix.
Website & product surface
The site, docs, and app shell that investors and users actually open.
PR strategy
A small number of high-signal placements around a real milestone, not a monthly “we exist” wire.
Social growth
X-first. Cadence, voice, and reply policy. This site’s public voice is @CGPTAgent.
Post-TGE strategies
Unlock communication, second listing, incentive season two, and how not to disappear.
05 — How to apply
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis via the Apply form. There is no public deadline. If the form is open, we are reading.
What to send
- One-paragraph description of the product in plain language.
- Live URL or testnet. Screenshots of a Figma are not a product.
- Traction: users, TVL, volume, waitlist, or revenue. Pick the number that is real.
- Round: amount, valuation or discount, what is already committed.
- What you want from Labs specifically — capital, listings, GTM, or all three.
- Team: full-time vs part-time, previous shipments, relevant domain.
Process after you submit
- Screen (3–10 days). Most applications end here. Silence after two weeks is a no. We do not send a rejection essay.
- Call. 30–45 minutes with a partner. Product, token, and why now.
- Deep dive. Data room, references, on-chain checks, customer calls if there are customers.
- Terms. If we move, you get a written outline before a long legal loop.
06 — Selection criteria
We score along five axes. None of them is a hard formula. All of them are discussed in the partner meeting.
| Axis | What “good” looks like | What fails |
| Product | Shipped, used, understood in one sentence | Whitepaper-only, forked UI, no users |
| Market | Clear buyer, growing category, not a 40th DEX | Zero differentiation, dying meta |
| Team | Full-time, shipped before, honest about gaps | Anon with no trail, five advisors zero builders |
| Token | Reason to exist, unlocks that are not a cliff | 100% float on day one, points with no plan |
| Fit | We can actually help (listings, AI, GTM) | Needs something we do not have |
Geographic bias: we work globally. Time zone overlap with Europe / MENA / APAC helps because that is where the operating team sits. It is not a requirement.
07 — Partners
The homepage partner rail is the public set. It is not a claim that every partner is in every deal.
- Solana — high-throughput execution environment for consumer and DeFi teams in the portfolio.
- Robinhood — distribution and market-access context for teams that care about retail flow.
- BNB Chain — liquidity, users, and listing adjacency for BNB-native products.
- Polygon — Ethereum-aligned scaling for teams that want EVM without L1 fees.
Other names you will see on the rail (Certik, Kucoin, Bitget, Bybit, MEXC, Gate, HTX, Castrum, Founder Heads, Tron Ventures) are part of the same network. A listing or audit is never “included with incubation”. It is earned in the workstream.
08 — ChainGPT ecosystem
Labs is one surface of the ChainGPT ecosystem. Founders are not required to integrate every product. Knowing the map helps you ask for the right intro.
If your product is an agent, a launchpad, or an AI infra play, say so in the application. That is a fit we can actually operationalize.
09 — GTM and TGE
TGE is a project-management problem disguised as a marketing problem. The teams that survive treat listing day like a launch, not a party.
Pre-TGE checklist (minimum)
- Token contract audited; freeze/mint authority documented.
- Unlock calendar published and mirrored in the data room.
- Market maker term sheet signed or in late legal.
- CEX or DEX venue confirmed in writing, not in a Telegram screenshot.
- Website, docs, and X account match the listing name and ticker.
- Incident channel: who posts if the pool is wrong or a CEX delays.
Listing day
One war-room, one spokesperson, one X thread. We prefer @CGPTAgent as the Labs-side amplifier so the message is not split across four dead accounts.
The 72 hours after
- Do not surprise the market with an unlock.
- Do not start a new points season on day two.
- Do post what shipped, what the liquidity looks like, and what week-one users should do.
10 — Post-TGE
Most of the value of Labs shows up after the ticker exists. The workstream typically covers:
- Second and third venues (if the first listing is healthy).
- Unlock communication 2–3 weeks before each cliff.
- A second narrative (not a rebrand) tied to a product release.
- Treasury policy: what is sold, what is staked, who decides.
- Community: which channels stay, which get archived.
If you only wanted a listing intro, say that in the application. We would rather know than discover it at week six.
11 — Glossary
- ATH ROI
- Return versus the entry used in a case study. Historical. Not a promise.
- CEX
- Centralized exchange. A listing is a process, not a button.
- GTM
- Go-to-market. Positioning, channels, launch, and the first 90 days of demand.
- Incubation
- Operating support around a company, not a school program with a graduation hat.
- KOL
- Key opinion leader. We treat this as a channel with a brief, not as a personality cult.
- MM
- Market maker. Liquidity partner around TGE and after.
- Smart Capital
- The investment track. Money plus a small number of high-leverage intros.
- TGE
- Token generation event. The moment the token becomes publicly tradable.
12 — FAQ
Do you take equity, tokens, or both?
Depends on the round and the jurisdiction. Expect a token warrant or SAFT-style instrument on incubation-heavy deals, and a standard equity or token deal on Smart Capital. Exact terms are deal-specific and written down before you celebrate on X.
Is a listing guaranteed?
No. Anyone who guarantees a top-tier CEX listing in a public doc is lying. We run a process. The venue decides.
Do we have to use ChainGPT AI?
No. Fit with the ecosystem is a plus. It is not a gate.
Can we apply if we already have a lead?
Yes. Follow-on and strategic are normal. Tell us who is in the round.
What chains do you support?
EVM, Solana, BNB Chain, Polygon, and others when the product is real. Chain snobbery is not a thesis.
How public will the relationship be?
We prefer to announce when there is something to announce. You can stay quiet until TGE if the round requires it.
Where do you post updates?
X only for this site: x.com/CGPTAgent. Telegram / LinkedIn / Medium are not in the header or footer.
Can I email a partner directly?
Use the apply form or X. Cold inboxes from strangers with a 40-page PDF are not a fast path.
Is there a residency program?
No. That track was removed. Docs and X replaced it in the header.
Who is this documentation for?
Founders, partners, and anyone who would otherwise ask the same ten questions in DMs. If a fact is not in this page, it is either confidential or not decided yet.
Still reading?
Apply, or talk to us in public on X. Both are faster than a warm intro to a ghost.
